Climate Crisis

• Implement comprehensive resiliency plans for all of Lower Manhattan

  • Prioritize storm barriers and draining systems

• Fund new community gardens and parks, and improve our existing green space

• Fund robust tree-planting initiative to improve air quality along congested streets

• Invest in green transportation infrastructure, such as protected bike lanes and pedestrian plazas

  • Work with the Department of Transportation to address extreme congestion along Canal Street, and other major commuter roadways
